Android sets off for space exploration

British scientists are going to send Android-powered mobile device into space. Their aim is to check the efficiency of mobile device performance and the platform supporting this device in hostile conditions in order to reduce the costs of space projects and provide more economical equipment to control spacecrafts and satellites. Maybe Android-powered “astronaut” will mark another milestone in the history of mobile app development and open up new possibilities for software development companies.
